Bedroom Sanctuary

After a long busy day, there is something so peaceful and calming coming home to a bedroom that's serene.
I think my love for a neutral palate comes from my love for the nature and its colors, patterns and textures (yes, I know, there are vibrant colors in nature too). When I look at the sky, trees, river/lake/ocean the calmness and peace brings me so much happiness.
When I design/style a bedroom I try to incorporate those details into my design. A couple of years ago, I styled this bedroom in all neutral tones and the only pop of color was the muted green bedding. I know it's not for everyone, but this was one of my favorite bedrooms that I have ever styled.
The simple design had different textures and tones incorporated in the design, that helped tie the bedroom together.
